Abstract: The energy of the multi-component nonstationary signals is distributed over the time-frequency plane. It might be necessary to separate signal components in time-frequency domain for some applications such as source separation. In this study, the wavelet ridges of a multicomponent nonstationary signal have been obtained, the lines constructing the ridges have been detected using Hough transform and modelled analytically. The signal components associated with each line segment have been reconstructed individually.
