The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between socioeconomic development (SEGE) scores at the provincial level and women's indicators in T & uuml;rkiye. The research questions include whether there is a relationship between women's indicators and SEGE scores, how the indicators affect SEGE scores, which indicators have a greater impact on SEGE, and how to determine the geographical distribution of the most effective indicators. The dataset for this study includes the socioeconomic development index scores of provinces and indicators related to women. The methods used in this study are correlation analysis, regression analysis, and spatial analyses (including spatial autoregressive and spatial error models, Moran's I and Lagrange multiplier diagnostics). The study's results indicate a negative significant relationship between the number of births of women aged 20-39 years and the proportion of agriculture in GDP. Conversely, there is a positive significant relationship between the indicator of compulsory insured women and SEGE scores. This study highlights the effects of women indicators on SEGE and contributes to the realisation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5.5 and 10.2, which aim to provide gender equality and inclusion of women in socioeconomic life. The findings can guide the development of women-based strategies and policies for sustainable development.en_US
