Abstract: In this study, a virtual electrical machines laboratory tool that provides training the synchronous generator experiments on the computer has been developed. No load, short circuit, loaded and parallel connection experiments of the synchronous generators are done with this tool. A separate experiment page is opened for the each experiment and the experiment process, the connection diagram, the table and the graphics are showed on the experiment page. The virtual laboratory tool improved by using C#.NET platform has been designed to be user friendly. Model and practical experiments of the generator are used for the simulation studies. Developed virtual laboratory tool will help the students to understand the synchronous generators. It will provide the possibility for the student to do experiments on the computer where the required laboratory equipments not constructed.
